When we let the Bible speak for itself, then we’ll find a peace of mind from the troubles that surround us because it causes us to meditate upon its words, not just read them as you would a novel. And the truths of life are to be found within it and not like all other religious books which have been designed by the hand of man. The Bible shows you that there is only One God, the Father and only One Son, Jesus, and aside from them, there are no other “gods” anywhere, either on earth or in the entire fabric of time itself!
So many people have so many questions and the Bible will provide those answers. In it is revealed the beginning of all things, the way of all things, the heart of man, the powers of darkness and the victory over it. The past comes alive and points to the future even as we live in the present. It tells you that the only hope you have of escaping the spirit of rebellion or sin is by having faith in the works and the person of Jesus Christ, The only begotten Son of God. For He himself has said that He is the way, the truth, and the life, and aside from Him, there is no other way! No other “gods,” no religions, no philosophies, no technological breakthroughs, no transhumanism or uploading the consciousness into a chip. He also made it very clear that many will take offense in His name and that many will fall away from the truth looking for their own truths!
So if you are looking for comfort in these wicked days and the fear of war is causing you anxiety, then turn to the Bible and begin to read starting at page one and there you will find rest. As in all things new, you need to take the first step.
